Nose job helps beat the bullies
A woman who suffered years of abuse at the hands of bullies over the shape of her nose has beaten the bullies thanks to plastic surgery.
Jessica Leigh says she’s no longer an ‘ugly duckling’ after she went under the knife for nose surgery earlier this year.
20-year-old Jessica also says she’s had the last laugh, since her bullies have made her more beautiful.
She now plans on becoming a model and has got engaged, showing her tormenters they have only made her stronger.
Jessica was bullied throughout school because of her nose, and the bullying even continued after she left education.
So when she began to experience breathing difficulties during yoga, caused by her nose, the decision to have surgery was an easy one.
“The constant goading made me lose my self-esteem,” said Jessica. “I felt like an ugly duckling all my life and I was always getting picked on.
“I even quit my job as a model because the teasing made me feel like I wasn’t pretty enough to do the job.”
Although Jessica had thought about surgery when younger, it wasn’t until the 20-year-old, from Rochester in Kent, had breathing problems during a yoga class that she decided the surgery was a necessity.
No she’s been under the knife Jessica says she’s much happier.
“I’m thrilled with the results,” she said.
“I feel like a different person and I’m just so much happier – I smile all the time.
