Balding Prince Harry considering hair transplant
Prince Harry is reported to be considering undergoing a hair transplant to avoid looking like his balding older brother Prince William.
It’s thought the prince, who has a fairly full head of ginger hair, has listened carefully to the advice of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who has reaped the benefits of such a procedure.
While Wills seems happy enough with his rapidly receding hairline Harry is less keen on the idea of displaying his bald pate, and wants to tackle the problem of hereditary hair loss.
As a result he’s had a chat with Ramsay – who had hair plugs installed last year.
It seems the prince could now be set to follow in Ramsay’s footsteps and do something about his hair loss, though it’s thought he won’t use the same method as the sweary chef.
He’s already been using Rogaine for several years and may now opt to have a hair transplant.
The procedure is more dependable and sustainable than hair plugs, which can sometimes look unnatural.
This is because a hair transplant makes use of the fact that hair actually grows in groupings of one, two, three, and four hairs. These natural hair groupings don’t grow in regular patterns on the scalp similar – just as grass grows irregularly on a lawn. Because these groupings of follicular units occur randomly hair plugs, which are usually implanted in rows, can look like fake hair.
But a natural hair transplant sees our surgeons make use of follicular units by relocating them from areas they aren’t needed, like the back of the neck, to areas of the scalp which do need them.
The result is more natural hair – which is fit for a prince!
