Selfie photos lead to Milton Keynes pensioner spending £15,000 on cosmetic surgery
A female pensioner has revealed how she splashed out £15,000 on cosmetic surgery and Botox – in order to look good in ‘selfie’ pictures.
The retired university PA Diane Clark couldn’t stand seeing her wobbly chin, eye bags and wrinkles whenever she took a selfie, so the 63-year-old decided enough was enough and opted to go under the knife to roll back the years.
Diane’s first experience with Botox was when she was 53. She was so happy with results that she returned twice a year.
However, last year, thinking she was looking older in photographs, she booked into hospital for a minimal access cranial suspension facelift.
Two cuts were made in front of each of her ears and the skin was pulled back until it was taut.
She was absolutely thrilled that she looked years younger!
She had not told her friends about the operation and afterwards they were shocked but showered her with compliments, she said.
