Thousands of middle-age men keeping Botox treatments under their hats, it has been revealed
A new study has revealed that men aged between 45 and 55 are the least likely to tell a partner that they have opted to seek out Botox treatments to beat their wrinkles.
It has also been stated that men are more likely than their female counterparts to seek the treatment because they have concerns about age discrimination within the workplace.
Roughly 10% of the million Brits a year who choose to undergo some type of cosmetic procedure are now male, a study from RightClinic.com states. The most common of the male customers for cosmetic procedures are aged between 35 and 45, newly divorced, and are looking for a bit of help now they are back to being single and looking to date.
The research found that one in nine men have treatment during their lunch breaks; almost a quarter (21%) don’t tell anyone.
Men living in cities are the most likely to head for the clinic for treatment, said RightClinic.com, with the cities of Edinburgh, Manchester and London leading the polls.
