Liverpool FC legend Didi Hamann has gone under the knife for a hair transplant
Former Liverpool great and Champions League trophy winner, Dietmar ‘Didi’ Hamann, has become the latest footballing personality to go under the knife in order to alleviate his issue with hair loss.
The 41-year-old German, who now has a job in football punditry, underwent his hair transplant last month and is more than happy to openly talk about the procedure, unlike some other people who will try to deny work they have had done. Didi is pleased with the outcome and therefore has no issue with it.
Inspiration for the treatment came from none other than Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney following his successful hair transplant procedures.
When speaking the The Mirror Hamann said, ‘I remember thinking when he had his hair done “Good for him – he wants to look better and isn’t afraid to tell the world about it”,
‘I’m the same. I am happy to go public and make clear that you can really benefit from giving nature a helping hand.
It didn’t bother me too much when I was playing but my career now is in the media and it is important that you look good.’
