US star Kaley Cuoco reveals her cosmetic procedures
US actress Kaley Cuoco, best known for her role in TV show ‘The Big Bang Theory’ has admitted that having cosmetic procedures were the ‘best thing’ she ever did.
She’s become a household name thanks to her turn as Penny in the much-loved US sitcom that has now been running for 10 years, and recently divulged her feelings on cosmetic surgery in an interview with Woman’s Health magazine. She confessed to going under the knife for dermal fillers, a breast augmentation and a rhinoplasty procedure saying:
“Years ago, I had my nose done and my boobs – best thing I ever did. Recently I had a filler in a line in my neck I’ve had since I was 12.”
She also spoke also of the confidence boost it gave her adding:
“As much as you want to love your inner self … I’m sorry, you also want to look good. I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing.”
Her revelation comes as a refreshing change of pace, as Hollywood stars are constantly denying their proposed procedures and sets a positive example that you shouldn’t be ashamed to have cosmetic procedures, whether it’s for cosmetic purposes or health reasons.
Cosmetic surgeon Michael Jones, MD adds:
“Surgery is such a personal decision but can be a very healthy one as well. Oftentimes people are self-conscious about their look, or a body part, or an area, and those issues can affect them (or limit them) from appreciating life. Surgery can restore someone’s self-confidence and make them feel happy and ready to live their best life.”
