Mr Afshin Mosahebi

MBBS(Lon) PhD(Lon) MBA(Warwick) FRCS(Plast)

Qualified at Guy’s & St Thomas Medical school in London. His Plastic surgical training was in The London Deanery in some of the largest & busiest hospitals in the UK. He has had further specialist training in reconstructive & aesthetic surgery in New York & in Belgium.

Ash is a Consultant & Honorary senior lecturer at Royal Free Hampsted NHS Trust Hospital and University College Medical School, London. He is an author a number of publications & has lectured extensively worldwide. He is involved in pioneering research work on regenerating new tissues through new biomaterials & tissue engineering.

His specialist interest is congenital, cosmetic & reconstructive breast surgery. He is also an active member of the regional skin cancer network. In addition to his specialist area, Ash has expertise in all aspects of cosmetic & laser surgery as well as non-surgical rejuvenation. Ash also deals with complex soft tissue reconstruction following accident or cancer surgery.

Mr Zak Rahman

MBChB MD FRCS(GenSurg)

is a Consultant Surgeon in Advanced Laparoscopic (key-hole) and Cancer Surgery at the prestigious Royal Free Hospital in London. As a fully recognised Bariatric Surgeon he works within the North London Obesity Service, one of two centres in the UK that has been recognised as a European Centre of Excellence for weight loss surgery.

Mr Rahman gained his qualifications at The University of Leeds School of Medicine, with a Batchelor of Medicine & Batchelor of Surgery degree. His research into the genetic basis of severe inflammation led to the award of Doctorate of Medicine with Commendation. As a clinical lecturer in Surgery he became a faculty member for the Leeds Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery. He then later gained his FRCS Intercollegiate Speciality Board Exam in General Surgery principally in Upper GI & HPB sub-speciality.

Mr Rahman’s main clinical and academic interests include weight loss surgery for metabolic disorders, and complex pancreatico-biliary diseases. He is a lead in the development of “scarless” surgery for gallstones, and has among his notable achievements performed among the most complex abdominal operations through key-hole surgery. He is a specialist in all areas of weight loss surgery, gastric banding, gastric bypass, and revisional surgery.

His post-graduate training has included internationally renowned centres in Germany and Hong Kong. He has recently held the award of Hunterian Professor in Surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons in England.

Mr Hicham Mouallem

MD FRCS( Plast)

Mr Mouallem is known and respected in the surgical techniques of facial rejuvenation and body contouring. His skill as a surgeon and artistic sensitivity, combined with the latest technology, has helped thousands of his patients look younger and feel better.

His special interest is in the development of minimally invasive techniques in aesthetic surgery. Using small incisions and with minimal trauma he can produce dramatic results in the face and body, with lasting effect and a fast recovery.

He uses the latest technology for his facial rejuvenation procedures as well as the traditional facelift with muscle repair and volume repositioning.

Mr. Hicham Mouallem performs all the types of aesthetic surgery, including the more traditional techniques.

A graduate of the University in Italy, in 1990, he has been in private practice since 1995.

Mr. Hicham Mouallem has presented many different lectures in Congresses and Symposiums in Europe and in other countries.
